Working Principle
The TS-GTS1-16 GripTrack S1 Encoder Scanner holds the probe and wedge assembly using a compact clamp mechanism. During inspection, the scanner is moved along the inspection surface while the spring-loaded encoder wheel remains in contact with the surface.
The encoder converts scanner movement into digital position pulses. These position signals are transmitted to the ultrasonic inspection system, allowing inspection data to be recorded according to actual scan distance.
