The MicroCirc D2 PAUT Scanner is developed for small-diameter pipe and tube inspection where dual-probe coverage, low clearance, and accurate encoded movement are required.

The scanner guides two probe and wedge assemblies around the pipe circumference and provides accurate scan-position feedback when supplied with an encoder. The dual-probe configuration is especially useful for weld inspection where both sides of the weld require coverage, or where improved inspection productivity is required.

Its low-profile construction makes it suitable for restricted-access inspection areas such as pipe racks, tube banks, boiler tube arrangements, heat exchanger areas, compact process piping, fabrication joints, and confined circumferential weld locations.

Working Principle

The TS-MCD2-45 MicroCirc D2 PAUT Scanner wraps around the pipe or tube using an adjustable link arrangement. During inspection, the scanner travels around the pipe circumference while holding two probe and wedge assemblies in position.
